Huddle Stories, Episode 025: What are you making today?
This week, we were reminded of the magic of the Huddle community.
We had a mission-driven startup (pre-product) post their first project on Huddle. Within 2 hours they had 30 incredible designers and builders (from the likes of Amazon, COLLINS, Twitter and Google) express interest in working on it. 20 or so gave personal stories on why they want to help make this company a reality.
Within a day, the founder found a team ready to design and build their bold idea and an entire community rooting for them.
So, in the words of our friend Brian Lovin, what are you making today? We’re here to all make some new things together.
Read on to hear about what’s being made this week inside Huddle – including a Series A climate change company, founder pitch learnings and new member perks.
More soon,
Steph & Mike

Tune in
Last week, Huddle co-founder Steph partnered up with Kat and Katie of Power to Pitch to host a Pitch Deck Workshop, focused on pitching and raising seed capital. After raising $3.5m and designing 20+ pitch decks for founder friends, Steph has found some insights that hold true and shared them. Here’s a preview:
People make rational decisions for emotional reasons. In fundraising, emoting the energy, story, movement and FOMO is what actually moves people to invest.
They’ll only remember 2-3 things about your pitch. Think about when you last got pitched something. Be intentional about what you want those 2-3 things to be. Repeat them.

Huddle Love
Hairtage Founder, Kelly Ann McCleary:
“Huddle is the best of all worlds!
You get the benefit of being in a team setting to bounce ideas off someone other than yourself but it is intimate enough so that the experience does not feel sterile but curated to your needs, preferences and creative style. I am in love with the branding, Hairtage wouldn't be nearly as attractive without you [Nate + Landry x Huddle]. Would recommend and will come back again!”
