Huddle Stories, Episode 028: New Leads
Happy Wednesday! We hope you’re having a great week.
A few days ago we brought on our latest group of Leads. These are top designers and builders that are versed in leading up teams and running great projects.
This week, we’re also celebrating the power of speed. Over the last month or so, Huddle teams have been coming together within a day – usually within a matter of hours. It feels like magic. It’s the direct result of having amazing, high-energy builders in our community and awesome projects coming in the door.
This all lines right up with one of our company values: Movement. In a world of over-analysis, we believe movement trumps all.
Read on to hear about what’s being built this week inside Huddle – including a new group of Leads and Huddle co-founder Steph sharing her top fundraising tips.
More soon,

Shout-Out: Our newest Huddle Leads
We welcomed a new batch of Huddle builders into our Leads program to learn the ropes on how to run projects on Huddle, put together their own teams and build passion-filled independent careers.
Meet some of our newest Leads:
Jacqualyn: Design + UX. 7 years of experience in tech, including roles at Meta, Apple, BMW and Adidas.
Andy: Runs a fractional product team helping founders take their idea to launch and staying close to users while iterating. I'm stoked for anything marketplace and sustainability-related.
Gustav: Product Design Lead with 17+ years experience. I've mainly worked in the media and automotive industry. Been freelance for the last 5 years, my most recent gig was at Spotify.
👉 Are you a founder? Post your project on Huddle today, meet vetted designers and builders by Friday. Or book a free team-building workshop with us.
Tune in: Fundraising Tips from Steph
Simplicity and Emotion. In a conversation with the Founding Designer at Maven, Steph two specific approaches and tactics that she recommends founders use when pitching an investor for the first time. Watch the clip here.
Some highlights:
Keep it simple (Nail the 2-3 most important things you want to stick.)
Draw out real emotion (Choose those 2-3 things based on what's most important to YOU and why you're building it. You can't fake genuine energy.)
Huddle Love
Huddle Member Antoine Meunier:
“Huddle has reduced my anxiety around the “but what am I gonna do next!?” like, Tinder/Bumble reduces one’s anxiety of “ending up alone”. Huddle reduces my anxiety of “shit, how am I going to find good people to build with?”
