Huddle Stories, Episode 031: Huddle 2.0
Hey there! Happy Friday.
Today, we launched Huddle 2.0 on Product Hunt!
We originally launched on PH almost 3 years ago. Back then we were just a Slack group with a simple belief: If all the best builders and founders were in the same room, we’d unlock a lot more movement and solve a lot more problems.
Over 1,300 more members, hundreds of customers and >$3.5m in funding later, we can’t wait to share where we’re at today. Now Huddle is a powerful platform where companies can spin up a team of experts in less than a day. We’ve made it as easy as posting a tweet.
Read on to hear about what’s being built this week inside Huddle – including our newest members and more on our re-launch.
More soon,
Mike & Steph

👋 Sibi: Growth Product Marketing at Slack, scaling our product-led growth team; raised $20M+ as a founder, operator, 2x Chief of Staff; obsessed with growth marketing
👋 Carol: Freelance brand marketing & strategy consultant based in New York! It's been over 10+ years of working at agencies, in-house, and D2C startups. Most recently, I was the Director of Brand Marketing at Pepper. Finally this year I decided to become a free agent and it's the best decision ever.

👋 Audrey: I’m a web designer and Webflow Expert. I run a web design and development studio based in Montreal, Canada, offering UX/UI support to brands like Armani, Bvlgari and Rosewood Hotels.
+ a few more recent additions:
PM #1 and former head of product at Bumble, then did a FAANG tour of duty. I help build neat products and the teams behind them.
Lead Product Designer at Hinge & prior to this role I've been embedded in design teams like Dropbox and Robinhood.

Launch Day: Huddle 2.0
Huddle 2.0 launched on Product Hunt today and we’d love your support/upvote!
For those following along, PH was Huddle's original launchpad back in 2020. It's been almost 3 years (what!)
Back then, we had a hunch the world’s top talent would go independent and the most resilient startup org charts would be flexible.
If that's the future –we thought –who's building the home for it?
First, a simple Slack group. Now, Huddle makes spinning up a fractional design and build team as easy as posting a tweet.
We’d love your support on Twitter and LinkedIn to get the word out!

"Something that made me feel good about Huddle and brought that kick of feeling happy or good was just seeing the cool projects y'all have coming in. I felt like I'm in good company and surrounded by talented people."
In case you’re new here…
Huddle is a community of 1400+ designers, builders, and creatives that work on startups together. Think of us as vetted collaborators in your pocket. On Huddle, getting a team is as easy as posting a tweet.

🪄 Teams getting paid in equity
Equity – as both a tool for startups to move quicker and leaner and as a tool for builders to earn ownership – is close to our hearts at Huddle. We’ve enabled equity as a way to pay since we launched and we’ve even created our own note (Creator Agreement for Future Equity, the “CAFE”).
We’ve been rolling out ways to make it even easier, by offering equity as a payment option right inside the Huddle app. Startups can now clearly see when their potential Huddle team is interested in taking a portion of their payment in cash and equity.
Startups can hold more cash, get builders that have skin in the game.
The cash portion of the agreement is one-click pay through the Huddle app.
Huddle handles the equity documentation within 3-5 business days.
Huddle is powered by friends helping friends build.
Gift a founder an invite to Huddle so they can move quicker and build bigger. They’ll get expedited access to a dream team and you’ll get 5% of their first project as a thank you from the Huddle community.
