Huddle Stories Vol. 18
Morning! ☀️
We’ve had a great start to 2021. More and more founders and creators are building careers, teams and startups on Huddle. We feel very lucky to be building a business whose central goal is to empower and be empowered by amazing entrepreneurial humans.
With community and people at Huddle’s core, we took a step back and decided we could do more to share and uplift the inspiring members of our community. The result is two-fold.
First, this newsletter is shifting from being a message from the founders to being stories from the community. You’ll find more spotlights on the companies built on Huddle and the people behind them.
Second, we’re adding another share format to break down one-way communication: a recurring Clubhouse series featuring Huddlers. The first “Huddle Around” conversation will be next Wednesday, details below.

Member Spotlight 🔦
We had 15 incredible designers, builders and operators join our community this month.
Meet a few of our new members:
Jacob Sandler -📍Toronto / Victoria, BC.
“I'm a founder and full-on people-person, providing expertise marketing in the form of research and writing services for thought leaders across North America (and soon the world)!
My company, Last Draft, is 3 years deep and hitting its growth curve. We love collaborating and helping clients explain their theses/theories and validate their business models.”
Kenny -📍Vancouver / Singapore
“Like many of you, I love building product. I split my time between helping early stage startups and tinkering with my own projects. I'm quietly building Viral Foundry and advising a few d2c ecommerce brands.”
Chip Kennedy -📍NYC / Boston / NC
“My background is in software engineering / computer science, and I’ve spent most of my career product architecting, product managing, and advising startups. I’m currently working on my own project in the democracy and civic engagement space.
I’m an advisor and the fmr. CTO of Tastemakers Africa, a community startup connecting Black people and the African Diaspora through travel, culture, and a global membership. I formerly ran a product studio, Collectively, for two years - which built products for mission-driven early stage startups.”
Startup Spotlight 🚀
Yana, a pillow company launched with Huddle brand and build teams, was featured in POPSUGAR with rave reviews.
“No, It's Not a Pregnancy Pillow, but It Helped Me Sleep F*cking Amazing”
Same Vibe ✨
